The Sheffield Institute for Policy Studies at Sheffield Hallam University intends to appoint a Social Policy Doctoral Training Alliance PhD Student on either a full-time or part-time studentship, ideally from October 2018.
The student may undertake certain teaching assistant duties, in addition to working towards a PhD qualification.
You will undertake a project in the following area: Investigating the Implementation and Impact of Public Spaces Protection Orders
This studentship is subject to satisfactory progress and will include full UK/EU tuition fees and an annual stipend at RCUK National Minimum Doctoral Stipend rates (£14,777 in 2018/19 full-time; pro-rata for part-time students).
As a minimum, applicants should ideally possess a 1st or 2.1 Honours degree. A Masters degree in a relevant subject area would be an advantage.
